First Night of League

The first night of anything is exciting, but many are apprehensive.. it's new after all.  Here is what to expect..  electronic scoring, so in most cases score sheets are not required.  More information about electronic scoring can be found here.

It is often helpful to have a printed scheduled and the weekly scratch sheet - although this is not required.  The Weekly scratch tells you the status of each team and their players along with information about the specific match.  These can be found on the web site each week, the results are updated by the next day, so you get instance feedback about how you and your team did.

Player Match Races can be determined prior to putting up a player using the online race calculator found here if desired.

League starts at a specific time (usually 7pm, but it can vary per league).  Play must start 15 minutes later or the teams that are not on time forfeit.

It is IMPORTANT to notify the other team before you start if someone on your team will not be present or will be late.

The HOME team decides which table(s) to use for which games AND which team picks first for the match.  After that alternate who puts up for the remaining matches of the night.

Sportsmanship is very important, bad conduct won't be tolerated.  If there are any questions or concerns contact either the league REP or John Bergman at 817-805-2184 (text is preferred).
